MTA launches Takaful4all initiatives as a part of Takaful Visibility Strategy

The Malaysian Takaful Association (MTA) today launched the Takaful4All initiative that specifically with the aim of enhancing public awareness regarding the concept and benefits of takaful, alongside promoting financial literacy, through a series of activities including, roadshows, contests, engagements as well as a series of media activities across multiple platforms, namely the mainstream, digital and social media. The ceremony was held in Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB) is discovered as an all-encompassing and inclusive campaign for stakeholders including Takaful ecosystem players and their customers.

MTA Chief Executive Officer, Mohd Radzuan Mohamed said, “The idea of this initiative started with the campaign on the unfortunate flood happened in Johor this year. The Malaysian Takaful industry has, no doubt, achieved remarkable growth in recent years. However, there is still room for improvement to maintain this growth trajectory. One crucial area in which we need to focus our collective efforts on enhancing public awareness regarding the concept and benefits of Takaful, alongside promoting financial literacy such as Takaful In Campus, Takaful Masuk Kampung, Takaful Hi-5 and many more. Collaborating with the government, takaful and retakaful operators, and industry associations can facilitate educating the public on the significance of Takaful and its role in financial planning.”
