Huawei Malaysia inks tripartite MoU to enhance halal industry digitalisation

Malaysia has inked a tripartite memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Halal Development Corp Bhd (HDC) and Duriemas Sdn Bhd.
The MoU focuses on utilising Huawei Technologies Co’s cloud-based digital solutions, to promote and strengthen the halal industry ecosystem through HDC’s Halal Integrated Platform (HIP).
The collaboration will enhance all parties’ expertise especially in the area of technical assistance, to strengthen the food track and trace solutions, as well as the food and quality assurance system through implementing start-of-the-art cloud technology.
It is also aimed at exploring new opportunities for halal industry players.
