Aeon Credit issues second sukuk wakalah of RM80mil

AEON Credit Service (M) Bhd has made its second issuance of sukuk wakalah under the Islamic commercial papers (ICP) programme of RM80 million in nominal value and a six-month tenure from the date of issuance.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, AEON Credit said the proceeds raised from the issuance would be utilised for shariah-compliant purposes.
