First Meeting of the Malaysia - Hong Kong Private Sector Dialogue on Offshore Renminbi Business
This Dialogue was established following the agreement by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) in August 2013 to strengthen the collaboration between Malaysia and Hong Kong in the area of renminbi (RMB) business.

First Meeting Of The Joint Forum on Islamic Finance Between Hong Kong and Malaysia
The first meeting of the private sector led Joint Forum on Islamic Finance (Forum) was held in Hong Kong on 3rd December. The Forum was set up pursuant to an agreement between the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) in August 2013 to strengthen collaboration between Hong Kong and Malaysia in the area of Islamic finance.

FAA strengthens its accreditation initiatives in MENA region
FAA signed the Cooperation Agreement with University College of Bahrain (UCB). The agreement is set to encourage the development and delivery of quality learning of academic programmes for the Islamic Finance and Finance related programmes in Bahrain.
